   Proposal Description:
   This project aims to examine the relationship between depressive symptomology and cognitive functioning over time. The model will examine rates of change over time while considering measurement invariance. Structural equation modeling will also be utilized. We will control for chronic medical conditions (including cardiovascular disease), education, sex, SES, and family history of neurological disease/dementia. The findings will be disseminated in hopes to maintain and improve our understanding of the longitudinal relationship between the GDS and cognitive functioning.
